Hazard Perception XL is an iPad-only app that makes the most of the extra screen space to display full-width hazard perception video clips. The user taps the button during any of the 16 clips to indicate where they think the hazard is and is given feedback at the end. The ideal iPad app, it makes the most of the form factor to result in an engaging, high quality experience

Created to support our sister site www.passyourtheory.org.uk, Road Signs Lite  is the free version of our iOS Road Signs app. It’s published on the Apple App Store for iPhone, iPad  and iPod Touch.

Road Signs Lite  incorporates a sophisticated, image based testing engine, scoring and feedback whilst being simple enough to be used without instruction.

Finally, a credible IDE has appeared for Corona SDK. Now, I’ve ended up with a reasonable editing environment using Eclipse on the PC and TextMate on the Mac but Corona CIDER looks like being the one IDE to rule them all. A licence currently costs $29 and, for that, you get versions for both Mac and PC.

Aside from making coding more convenient (including launching the simulator and displaying  Terminal output directly from within the IDE), CIDER also includes step-by-step debugging using breakpoints and even the facility to jump backwards. I’ll be giving the IDE a thorough test over the coming weeks, it’d be lovely to have a professional IDE at the heart of development – it’s amazing how much difference it makes.

We’re currently working on a series of apps for the iOS and Android platforms to supplement our hugely successful Facebook marketing apps. This website will include examples of our apps as well as providing a resource for developers and companies interested in having apps created on their behalf.
