Adobe Flash/Flex Programming
Flash has been around for some time now and began as a tool for designers. Over the years Actionscript, a powerful scripting language was added to increase its capabilities and Flash is now capable of the most complex and sophisticated web application and CDROM development work.
Flex is a tool that is designed specifically for developers and we use it for web application work that doesn't involve animation.
We're currently using the latest version of Flash (CS3) for development work that includes:
- Virtual World
An educational product created for Collins Reference that is being sold directly into schools. The winner of three awards from internationally recognised cartographic societies, this product includes traditional animations, a 3D atlas, games, an XML based multiple choice and an XML based databank. We have recently completed the conversion of this product to Estonian, achieved at low cost because of the modular structure of the original.

- Pass Your Theory
Pass Your Theory is the UK's leading Driving Theory test website and we used Flash to create the interactive tests and Hazard Perception training elements of this site.

- Defence Academy
We recently created a complete tour of the Defence Academy's museum. This was created so that it could run on a small, handheld PDA and included points of interest that the visitor used to learn about the different items of equipment.
