I've been NlightN Multimedia's Managing Director since it started trading in 1999. I've also been a Contributing Editor for PCPro magazine for over 10 years and reckon I've written over a quarter of a million words for that magazine with an average monthly circulation of around 100,000 copies.
For the past couple of years I've been writing exclusively about Web Application development, both the technical and marketing sides since this is what I do on a day to day basis.
I've developed serious PHP and Flash skills as well as becoming a Google Certified Advertising Professional this year. I'm a bit of an obsessive in that once I get my teeth into something, I wrestle with it until I have mastered it.
Apart from the creative pleasure I get from programming and designing leading edge websites, web applications and CDROMs, I get the most pleasure from opening doors for my clients. I absolutely love being able to say "yes" to a client who's got a great idea but is unsure if the technology exists, at a reasonable price, to realise it.
Above all, however, I get real joy from seeing the finished, signed off product of our efforts. Quality products delivered on time and to budget.
